WHAA President Nora Kay Reaches Out to Alumni in Southern California
Nora Kay recently organized a potluck dinner party to meet with Wan Hua alumni in southern California. The event took place on March 21, 2019 at Asian Performing Arts Center in El Monte, California. Nora was warmly received by the alumni present at the party. They spent an evening together renewing their friendship and making new friends with one another. The potluck dinner consisted of samosa and tasty Burmese and Chinese foods. During the get-together, Nora told them that the association is working on land and sea tours for our alumni and a publication to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the founding of the association. She urged them to join the tours and submit articles and essays to the association. The group had a wonderful time together.
