April 5, 2008 Lunch Party
Our appreciation goes to Stan, Lulu, Sidonie, Steven, and many other alumni for bringing and sharing with us all kinds of tasty food. It is not practical for us to mention the names of each and everyone of them. Also, thanks to the advances in techonology and Ken's superb picture-taking skills, for the first time you can listen to your fellow alumni's discussions during this lunch event. Last, but not least, we thank Nora for taking meeting notes.

The Dinner in celebration of the second anniversary of the founding of the Wan Hua Alumni Association was held in Stan and Lulu Liou's cozy house on November 17, 2007. About 30 alumni and their spouses attended this event. Folks had a good time, eating, drinking, chatting, and laughing. We whole-heartedly thank Stan and Lulu for their good food and hospitality.

2006 Chinese New Year Dinner
The Association sponsored a Chinese New Year banquet on March 19, 2006. It was the first such event ever held by the Association. It is noteworthy to mention here that Mrs. Song, a former teacher of St. Emilie's Convent, attended the banquet as our special guest. Throughout the banquet, the former Wanhua students exhibit a love and appreciation for their schools, and they really enjoyed the friendship of their schoolmates. As the dinner proceeded, Vice-President Stan Liou made a contribution of $300 to the Association. President Felix Chin and the Distinguished Member Steven Leesan Kong followed suit, each donating $200 to the Association. Each paying $30 for a ticket, about 125 schoolmates, their spouses and their guests attended the dinner and karaoke event at Grand Palace Seafood Restaurant in So. San Francisco, California. They danced the night away with their husbands and wives. Others spent the evening catching-up with one another. Those who were lucky came away with raffle prizes donated by members of the Association. In short, a good time was had by all.
